Back in the 90’s or early 2000s wedding was an expensive affair , but, surely not as expensive as it is now.
As though the ever growing expenses was not an issue, people have found a new way of spending more money on something trivial again.
I am talking about all those Pre / Post wedding videos and photoshoots.
We get it guys, you found a partner!!!
Big deal, there are hundreds of other couples who are going to get married on the same day.
I know people think that these videos are “Cute” or “Romantic” , maybe I am not such a romantic person to be amused by these.
For I am only bemused at the stupidity of the people who tend to think this is a great addition to already “so filled with them” wedding Album and videos.
I mean , how do you even find the nerve to start running around on the beaches or some scenic place, pretending to be the leads of some new movie, having a weird camera guy tailing you, recording you from different angles!!!
I remember when one of my cousin’s pre-wedding video came my way, the cameraman was so obsessed with shooting their ass , I kept thinking “Why are they focusing on this? It is not as great as that of J LO to require so much of attention. “
Then there are videos of the groom chasing after the bride while the bride jumps around like a crazy 13 year old. Guys you are going to want to run away from each other in a few years. Why do you want to look back to these and wonder what went wrong in your wedding ?
First there was a “Save the Date” video.
Then came a pre wedding video ( always with a latest hit number that doesn’t relate to the video ).
Oh now we also have a post wedding video.
Whats next ? The night of the wedding? Your honeymoon trip ? The first time you cook? The first time you fight ? The first time you patch up?
What all are people going to make video of ?
Wake up guys !!!
Don’t you see??? You are the test subjects of some budding photographer, who ultimately wants to become a successful movie director or cameraman to create his portfolio 😛
You can get married without torturing your friends and loved ones with your weird videos.
We will forgive you for not creating one of these.
Probably I don’t belong here. Maybe I am too old school to understand these madness.
